How often do these educational sessions take place?
- The Education Committee's goal is to host, at minimum, one educational session per month, and three max per month.

- We recommend Tuesday or Wednesday in the afternoons, during the last two weeks of the month.
- Note: monthly newsletters promoting these sessions are distributed the first week of every month.
- Please submit a date that is at least one month out to help ensure staff and volunteers have sufficient planning time.
- We are an international organization with active chapters across the globe, making our calendar highly flexible!
Are panel style webinars and AMAs welcome?
- Absolutely. There is a section in the proposal submission form to include additional speakers/panelists.
What happens after I submit a proposal?
- A member of our Education Committee will follow up to finalize your session details. This includes;
-
- Confirm receipt of your submission
- Ask any clarifying questions
- Verify your proposed date and time.
- Send a Placeholder meeting invitation to reserve the time on your calendar.
- A formal Zoom meeting link will be sent a week prior to the actual session via the Executive Director.

- We utilize the Zoom platform. Within Zoom, we use Meeting-style sessions, meaning all participants can actively engage via video, audio, and screen sharing. The Executive Director has the ability to control all video, audio, and screen sharing as needed.

- Our members value authentic education, practical insights, and conversations that empower their professional growth.
-
When preparing your presentation, please consider the following:

Avoid gendered or exclusionary phrasing.
-
Use industry-inclusive language. Say “production facility” instead of “brewery”.
- Explain acronyms, technical terms, and region-specific terminology to support members from diverse backgrounds.
- If discussing legislation, business practices, or production standards, clarify when something is U.S. or region-specific.
- When possible, offer global parallels, universal principles, or examples from different regions.
- Be mindful of time zones if referencing future events or resources.
-
How do I submit a session for the Pink Boots Society Virtual or In-Person conferences?
- Calls for Proposals (CFPs) for the Pink Boots conferences are solicited as planning begins for each event.
- When CFPs open, application instructions will be shared on our website, newsletter, and various social media channels.
