Trademark Brewing® is seeking a new production associate for our production brewery and taproom, located in Long Beach, California. New, established and ambitious brewers with relevant experience should apply. No professional experience is required, but preference may be given to those with formal training.

Our award-winning production brewery + taproom is located at the top of Downtown Long Beach, and our beers are distributed throughout Southern California in kegs and cans at hundreds of accounts, including Whole Foods, Lazy Acres and Bristol Farm and marquee hotels and tastemaker accounts. We focus on clean fermentation, creative recipe design and sustainable brewing practices. Our high end equipment includes a mash filter equipped brewhouse, 100% RO brewing and a monoblock canning line. We prefer to work smarter, not harder, while creating amazing beer with a focus on quality, consistency, and innovation.

Minimum Qualifications

21 years of age with High School diploma or equivalent
Ambition, drive and (something beer)
Loads of common sense and self-motivation
Excellent detail-oriented communication skills
Knowledge and passion for industry standards and trends
Primary Responsibilities

Cellar Sampling, Trub/Hop Dumping, VDK testing and fermentation control
Dry-hopping and misc tank additions
Brew Preparation, including malt and hop handling
Fermenter CIP + SIP
Keg Washing and Filling
Carbonating and finished beer preparation
Misc brewing and packaging, incl. brewhouse cleaning and packout tasks
General cleaning/warehouse organization and forklift operation
Inventory organization and order-building
Sanitation, sanitation, sanitation
Additional Responsibilities and Opportunities

Representing TMb at festival and events, and promoting our brand
Collaborative recipe development
Brewing and beer production
Sensory Evaluation (incl. training, communicating beer info to taproom staff)
Performance Standards:

Positive and professional image, maintains energetic attitude with self, guests and team
Physical Requirements

Lift, move, pull, or carry 55lbs and move (160lb+) heavy objects, using appropriate techniques and tools
Stand for 8-12 hours/day
Ability to twist turn, reach, bend, stoop, kneel, climb as required
Work in hot or cold, inside or outside environment for extended periods
