The Raleigh Brewing Company is an award-winning brewery located in the heart of the Triangle region with beer in over 1,000 accounts statewide. Our mission is to embrace the City of Oaks with every beer brewed, from the murals of the capital city on our taproom walls, to our involvement with the local community organizations and nonprofits, we thrive for this city. We currently operate 20bbl and 3bbl brewhouses, with two taprooms pouring core, seasonal, and small batch beer seven days a week.
Job Type: Full time, in-person, 40 hours per week
Wages: $38,000 – $42,000, depending on education and experience
Qualifications: 1-2 years professional experience in a commercial brewery setting High school/GED or higher Fermentation education preferred Able to meet physical demands of role Valid drivers’ license with clean driving record 21+
Job Duties and Responsibilities: Wort production Brewery maintenance and sanitation Centrifugation and direct transfer of beer Additions of adjuncts or other ingredients in the cellar, including dry hops, fruit, and extract Yeast management, including monitoring pitch rates, yeast health during storage, and cell counts Regular maintenance for two draft line systems Canning line operation and maintenance Data collection and ensuring all finished beer is within specification Fermenter and brite tank CIP/SIP
Preferred Skills: Basic laboratory practices Sensory analysis training and knowledge of beer styles Familiarity with Ekos platform Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects Familiarity with forklift and warehouse operations Passion for craft beer
Physical Demands: Regularly walk, stand, climb, reach, stop, kneel, and crouch Lift or be able to move 50+ pounds Good vision and hearing Ability to work in a seasonal environment – hot in the summer and cold in the winter
