Speaker: Dr. Sylvie Van Zandycke, Ph.D.

Sylvie obtained her Ph.D. on Saccharomyces cerevisiae in 2000 from Oxford Brookes University in the UK. She joined Lallemand in 2004 and held a number of positions within the company, she is currently the director of Sales and Marketing for brewer’s yeast, bacteria and nutrients. She was also appointed Director of Ethics for the Siebel Institute of Technology in 2022. Sylvie has been a member of the American Society of Brewing Chemists for 20 years and she is currently the past president of the organization.
