Event Details
Curious what it's really like to train like a Bavarian brewer? Join us for a live conversation with this year's recipients of the Craft Beer Sensorik Seminar scholarship, an intensive week-long program held at the Technical University of Munich (TUM), Department of Brewing & Beverage Technology, at the Research Center Weihenstephan for Brewing and Food Quality in Freising, Germany.
Our panelists will share their firsthand experience of the program — from the two-day intensive Sensory Beer Seminar and earning their TUM Sensorik Certificate, to VIP field trips through Bavaria's hops and malting facilities, including Hallertau Hops Grading in St. Johann, the Bavarian Research Center in Hüll, and the IREKS Craft Malt Facility in Kulmbach. They'll also talk about touring the historic Weihenstephan Brewery, life in Freising during the seminar, and what it meant to train alongside TUM brewing scientists.
