Pink Boots Oregon Hoppy Campout

We are proud to announce the first Pink Boots Oregon Hoppy Campout. Pink Boots Chapters across Oregon (Bend, Portland & Willamette Valley) have been invited by our friends at Coleman Hops to campout at their picturesque Alluvial Hop Farm in Independence, Oregon the weekend of August 1-3. (Big thank you to Ivy Hover from Coleman Hops for facilitating!)

This is a unique opportunity to camp (FYI Not riverside so to speak, but near) in this beautiful setting, tour the farm, visit some local spots and mix it up/learn from one another. Depending on response and interest, there may be opportunities to carpool or rent larger vehicle(s) to make this as accessible as possible for as many members as possible.

A prospective itinerary is below – subject to evolve closer to the event/interest.

Friday, August 1
3/4 pm – Early arrival Campers set up their tent sites
7 pm - Dinner: Potluck could be fun or dinner in town (will poll ahead of time)
Fridays starting at 6 pm are Concerts in the Park, so it gets busy (mostly tribute acts)
8:30 pm – hangout time by the fire pit(s)
8:38 pm – Sunset

Saturday, August 2 – FARM & EXPERIENCES
6 am – Sunrise
7 am - Breakfast: Communal pancake breakfast on site
8:30 am – Hop Yard Hike (see & smell some hops)
12 pm – Lunch
3 pm – Free time/river swim in the river
7:00 pm – Dinner at Parallel 45 Brewing Event Space (Food Trucks & Takeout)
8:37 pm – Sunset
9:00 pm – hangout time under the stars (it’s the first quarter moon, so should be good, might even see meteors)

Sunday, August 3
6 am – Sunrise
8 am – pack up camp
9 am – Brunch in town
