Event Details

If you've never participated in one of the ancient alcohol tours at the University of Pennsylvania Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology (or even if you have) you are in for a major treat. Here's the schedule for this blockbuster day: We'll meet at the museum at 10:45 am for a private tour of ancient alcohol relics guided by archaeologist Dr. Sarah Linn. Next will be a guided tasting of an antiquities-inspired ale and a reading from the ancient alcohol chapter of A Woman's Place Is in the Brewhouse by author Tara Nurin. This portion will end around 12:45 pm. Feel free to stay and browse the galleries or join us for a PAYGO lunch at Carbon Copy brewery/winery with owner Kyle Wolak. Your tour ticket gets you into the museum all day, even if you leave for lunch then return.
