Pink Boots Scholarships: From Intention to Impact

This roundtable will explore the power of approaching scholarships with intention and how thoughtful planning can transform a single educational opportunity into lasting personal, professional, and community impact. I'll share my journey as a recipient of the Pink Boots Society Germany Scholarship, including what inspired me to apply, the questions I asked myself before submitting my application, and how I envisioned the scholarship supporting my long-term goals.

We'll discuss how setting clear intentions before receiving a scholarship helped me turn the experience into more than just an incredible trip; it became a catalyst for a new career path, increased confidence in sensory education, and new opportunities to share knowledge within the beer community. I hope to encourage future scholarship applicants to think beyond the application itself and consider how they can maximize the impact of these opportunities long after they return home.
