Florida Summer Meeting trip

August 5–9 | Tallahassee, FL

Join us in Tallahassee for our Florida Chapter Summer Meeting, a weekend focused on collaboration, education, recruitment, and community!

Chapter funds will cover the cost of our Airbnb for current Pink Boots Society Florida Chapter members, making this a great opportunity to connect with members from across the state. Members are welcome to stay for the entire trip or just the nights that fit their schedule. Please note that accommodations may include shared bedrooms and common spaces so we can accommodate as many members as possible.

Tentative Schedule

Wednesday, August 5

• Arrival in Tallahassee
• Check in to the Airbnb and settle in

Thursday, August 6

• Brewery collaboration brew day or educational event (details coming soon)
• Evening recruitment tour visiting breweries and other fermented beverage businesses to meet women and non-binary industry professionals, introduce them to Pink Boots Society, and strengthen connections in the Tallahassee area

Friday, August 7

• Beer judging for qualified judges before the Tallahassee Beer Festival
• Florida Chapter Summer Meeting for all members

Saturday, August 8

• Tallahassee Beer Festival
• Visit the Pink Boots Society booth to help share our mission
• Celebrate the release of our collaboration beer brewed with Amicus Brewing Ventures

Sunday, August 9

• Check out of the Airbnb and travel home

Important Information

• Lodging is provided for paid Florida Chapter members through chapter funds.
• Members may stay any or all nights, but I need to know your lodging plans in advance.
• Shared sleeping arrangements may be necessary.
• Please RSVP and commit to your lodging needs by July 6 so final accommodations can be arranged.
