Charlotte Beer Education Night

Join us on Monday December 15 for a 2-part beer education night at Pilot Brewing:

5-6pm: We'll kick off with an off-flavor happy hour. We'll mingle as we taste through off-flavors in beer, and discuss how these flavors become present in a beer, and what's causing it.

6:30-8pm: Led by Advanced Cicerone® Rachael Hudson, we’ll explore how yeast influences aroma, flavor, mouthfeel, and fermentation behavior — all from one original wort. Learn key tips for fermenting with different yeast styles and gain a better understanding of how yeast selection plays a crucial role in brewing outcome.
Cost: $20/person (This will be covered by PBS as long as those who register attend.)
