Austin Chapter: September Meeting at Deydra’s Farm Venue

Tuesday, September 15, 2026
6:30 PM - 8:30 PM (CDT)

Event Details

Join us for a special September Pink Boots meeting as we visit the farm of Deydra, the farmer that picks up spent grain from The Brewtorium She has generously offered to host our chapter at her venue, giving us a firsthand look at the land, the systems, and the work that transforms brewery byproducts into agricultural value.
During our visit, Deydra will share her expertise on Food System Synergies and the intersection of Agriculture, Renewable Energy, and Technology, the same topic she will be speaking on the following week in New York City for Climate Week. This is an incredible opportunity for our members to hear her insights in an intimate, local setting before she presents them on a national stage.
We’ll explore:
• How spent grain supports regenerative farming practices
• Where agriculture and renewable energy meet in real‑world applications
• How emerging technologies are reshaping food systems and sustainability
• Ways breweries and farms can collaborate to strengthen local ecosystems

This meeting is a chance to deepen our understanding of the broader impact of our industry, celebrate community partnerships, and learn directly from a leader whose work bridges innovation and land stewardship.
We look forward to gathering with you, connecting with the farm, and supporting Deydra as she prepares for her upcoming NYC presentation.
We are working on transportation to and from the meeting. More details to be announced soon.
