I am passionate about serving others—whether that means advocating for stronger craft beer legislation or hosting a Pink Boots Brew Day. I believe that surrounding yourself with people who are driven to improve their corner of the world not only builds stronger communities but also creates unexpected opportunities for growth.
As a former teacher and brewery owner of eight years, I thrive on collaboration, education, and empowerment. My experience serving on multiple boards has given me a broad perspective, and I often find myself in the role of Treasurer—a responsibility I embrace. With strong financial acumen, I value good stewardship and long-term planning as the foundation for any healthy, sustainable organization.
I am grateful for the chance to share the knowledge I’ve gained while continuing to learn from others in my industry. The work is deeply meaningful to me, the connections invaluable, and the act of serving others remains one of the most fulfilling parts of my journey.

Vice Treasurer Role

Hello Pink Boots community!
Pink Boots has been instrumental in shaping my journey, and I am eager to contribute my skills and passion to its continued growth so that others find it as beneficial as I have.
With over 14 years of experience in the sectors of hospitality, underground construction, plumbing, brewing operations, non-profit, higher education, and now public administration; I bring strategic and multi-faceted experience to the table. As the current Chair of the Education Committee, the team and I have worked hard to bring you a year filled with educational webinars, the inaugural virtual conference, and the 2026 in-person conference. These efforts reflect a career rooted in building strong teams, fostering inclusivity, and creating opportunities for educational and professional development; the same values that anchor the mission of Pink Boots.
As a member of the Board, my priorities will be;
- Promoting member engagement and retention.
- Expanding educational and professional development resources.
- Supporting DEI initiatives that ensure Pink Boots continues to lead the way in fostering a welcoming and thriving community.
I would be honored to earn your trust, and vote. Together, I know we can continue to make the Pink Boots Society a beacon for education, community, and empowerment in our industry.
Cheers!

Director At-Large Role

After graduating with a master’s degree in marketing in 2010, I began working in craft beer. My career took me from Pennsylvania to North Carolina in 2015. Since arriving, I've helped build the Charlotte Chapter of the Pink Boots Society and served many years on the planning board for our Biere de Femme Festival. In 2017, I was the editor of Brewing Ambition, a book highlighting women in the NC craft beer industry, and in 2021, I helped establish an annual Charlotte Craft Beer Week, which sees huge successes today.
Over the years, I have worked in all three tiers of the alcohol industry, spending much of that time working as a brewery sales rep. I currently work as Director of Culture & Communications for Tryon Distributing - an independently owned statewide wholesale distributor. Though this role, I have learned what it takes to be an impactful liaison between groups/committees, and have developed initiatives to increase engagement and retention. I hope to be able to apply these successes to the Pink Boots Society through the role of Director at Large.
