Brief Description

Ten Eyck Brewing Company is seeking an energetic and responsible Cellar Technician to join our team in Queenstown, Maryland. The right candidate will have a proven track record of interpersonal skills and employment history showcasing responsibility and accountability. The Cellar Technician will work with the Head Brewer in all aspects of wort production and hot side management, cellar work and cold side management, packaging and cleaning duties. This is a repetitive job well suited for an individual who takes pride in minor details and understands their impact when considered as a collective whole in the brewery.

Ten Eyck Brewing Company is a women and veteran owned production brewery located on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. We produce a variety of clean ales, foeder conditioned lagers, ciders, and occasional mixed culture beers. We have a beautiful tap room and a large outdoor beer garden. •Position Requirements•
-Ability and drive to produce a quality product
-Have a minimum of 1 year professional experience
-Must be 21 years of age
-Have incredible attention to detail
-Have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
-Have the ability to work and function in a manufacturing environment while wearing PPE
-Perform as an integral member of a team
-Ability to perform repetitive tasks with minimal supervision
-Ability to take initiative to identify and solve problems
-Willingness to learn and take direction
-Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry heavy loads (50+ lbs), work at heights, and stand for long periods

•Job Responsibilities•
-Preparing and crushing grain
-Properly transferring beer
-Processing fruit
-Cleaning tanks & barrels according to our SOP
-Packaging and labeling
-Safely operating a pallet jack and personnel lift
-Maintain workplace safety while upholding quality standards and standard operating procedures
-Perform routine preventative maintenance and cleaning of equipment and infrastructure
-Maintain extreme cleanliness of the beer production area
-Work closely with the head brewer to produce quality product

•Preferred Skills•
-Basic beer knowledge
-Basic knowledge of tools
-Experience in a manufacturing environment

Brewery experience is not required. We will train the right person and give them the skills they need to succeed.  Starting base pay is $18/hr but is commensurate with experience.
