INCOMING! The Education Committee is proud to launch yet another new educational
series: The Long Pour — a recurring, Ask-Me-Anything (AMA) virtual series. Think
fireside chat energy: honest, unfiltered, and deeply personal.


This AMA series invites seasoned industry professionals, owners, and founders to
share the personal side behind their successful careers in the fermented beverage
industry. This is an opportunity to hear the parts you don’t usually hear on stage or in a
presentation — the pivots, setbacks, risks, mentors, and breakthrough moments that
shaped their paths.


Whether you’re able to attend live or not - we encourage everyone to participate by

Jen Price is a beer educator, author, and community-builder dedicated to expanding inclusivity and connection within the craft beverage industry. A Cicerone Certified Beer Server and the author of The Chick’s Guide to Beer: 7 Simple Rules for the Beer Novice, she works to make beer more accessible through education, storytelling, and intentionally crafted experiences. She is also the co-founder of Craft Women Connect, a network that supports and uplifts women and beer professionals through collaboration and mentorship. In 2020, Jen founded Crafted for Action, an events and experience curation company rooted in the pillars of craft, community, and culture. Its flagship event—the annual Crafted for Action Craft Beverage Conference—is the first of its kind created by a BIPOC woman and has become a national model for inclusive industry programming. Jen also leads Crafted Fellows, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit accelerator supporting BIPOC-owned beverage ventures through mentorship, education, and access to capital. The program has supported 14 ventures and distributed more than $13,500 in microgrants. Jen’s work has been recognized by Good Beer Hunting, VinePair, Atlanta Magazine, and Wine Enthusiast, where she was named to the 2024 Future 40 list. She is also an AICP-certified urban planner specializing in community engagement and environmental justice.
