New York City Chapter: Homebrew Scholarship

Application Window: July 14th - August 17th, 2025

Scholarship Value: $175

Description:

Homebrewing Scholarship to include 1 year membership to Brewminaries Homebrew Club, and a $150 gift card to Forever Homebrew. Good for someone looking to learn more and get started or someone wanting to up there Homebrew game with a community and new gear. 


Hampton Roads Chapter: VA Brewers Conference, Richmond

Description:
Virginia is home to nearly 350 breweries — #11 in the country. Join your peers from across the state for the annual conference. The conference will feature 30+ educational sessions and trade show. In addition, there will be countless networking opportunities, including afternoon happy hours, nightly receptions, and a state-wide bottle share.

Keynote speakers, Trailblazers of Virginia Beer, Bill Spence (St. George) + Dave Warwick (Three Notch’d) + Eric McKay (Hardywood). And, It Takes a Village, People: The YMCAs of Community-Driven Growth, Alison Wisneski and Betsy Lay (Lady Justice Brewing). The scholarship will cover your conference registration, hotel, parking and incidentals. Two BOOTS will share a room. All Pink Boots Society (PBS) scholarships have a “Pay It Forward” (PIF) requirement, where our scholarship recipients pay forward the knowledge they gained from their scholarship course within six (6) months of completing the course. This can be fulfilled by doing one of the following:

1) writing an article that’s published in a printed publication or on a reputable
website/blog
2) giving a presentation at a local, regional or national professional seminar or
conference
3) volunteer for PBS for 1 year (national committee or chapter officer position)

If you're a member of the New Orleans PBS chapter or are in the Louisiana/Mississippi area, please apply to get a free ticket to the two day conference this January 27-28! We are giving away 2 tickets from our funds. Learn a lot about Beer, wine, and distilling Businesses, from marketing and front of house to production and back of house.
