Collaboration Brew Day Committee Member

Do you want to be a part of Pink Boots’ biggest fundraiser? Each year, the number of participating teams increases and with that takes on a need for more resources to help run the program. 

2022 is Pink Boots Society’s 15 year anniversary and Collaboration Brew Day’s 5th anniversary. It’s an exciting year and lots to be done! 

We are forming a committee under the guidance of Sue Rigler, Collaboration Brew Day Coordinator. We are looking for 4 committee members defined below:

  1. Project management. Work off a timeline and make sure deadlines are being met. Work closely with SciSoc to coordinate administrative duties, Yakima Chief Hops on the Annual Hop Blend and be the point person to answer questions from the participating teams. 
  2. Marketing communications. Create social media content, press releases, email communications and keep the User Guide up-to-date. Oversee correct usage of the Pink Boots Collabortion Brew Day® logo. You will work closely with SciSoc’s Social Media administrator and the Project Manager. 
  3. Finance roles. Assist with communication about the donation process to participating teams and work closely with Pink Boots’ Board Treasurer and SciSoc on collecting donations from the teams. You will be responsible for generating financial reports summarizing the fundraising efforts.
  4. International Liaison. This role will be an international ambassador to help lead efforts to facilitate communication and support on a global level.

Term will be from June 1 2021 – June 1, 2023. The time commitment will be approximately 5 hours per week during off peak times with slightly more hours during Q1 as International Women’s Day approaches.
