In partnership with BBL, Inc. USA Delirium, Pink Boots Society is excited to announce the recipient for the 2022 Deliria Brew Day Experiential Scholarship, Becky Peppelman.
Becky Peppelman is currently the head brewer and consultant at Conflux Brewing Company in Missoula, MT. Along with helping to reset the brewery, she dedicates much of her time to training, educating, and working with staff on lesser-known beer styles and food pairings. Becky has hosted Pink Boots Collaboration Brew Days® in the past, but 2021 was the first team consisting of almost solely production workers, making the uplifting experience one she will remember for the rest of her life. Becky has been a Pink Boots member for six years and has been the Montana Chapter Finance Liaison for the last 2 years, where she frequently helps lead and organize Chapter events as well as promotes education and inspiration to her fellow members. Becky is looking forward to her next venture of opening a new brewery as head brewer in her hometown of Helena, MT., focusing on classic European beer styles. She believes the Deliria Brew Day Experiential Trip scholarship will not only give her the opportunity to brew a once-a-year beer with passionate females, but it will also broaden her understanding of traditional Belgian brewing and beer styles.
BBL, Inc. USA Deliria Brew Day Experiential Scholarship is an onsite experience in January 2022 in Ghent, Belgium where the recipient will participate in Delirum’s annual Deliria Brew Day. This beer is made by women every year to celebrate International Women’s Day on March 8th. Local travel, hotel accommodations, beer, and meals are provided by Delirium as well as a travel stipend from PBS.
